
PECPS Thanksgiving break will begin on Tuesday, November 21st with an early dismissal for students at 12:30 p.m. Schools will be closed for the remainder of the week on November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Prince Edward County Public Schools will resume on Monday, November 27th.

ES Playground Update: The equipment has been chosen, and monies have been secured! We expect Playground Specialists, Inc., to begin demolition and replacement in mid-March. The new playground will be accessible to all students and will include an outdoor classroom.


Students from Longwood University will host a Read-Aloud event for our #ittybittyeagles at the university library. This event is free and is not sponsored by PECPS. #communitypartners


The Hearts of Virginia, a community group supporting families of loved ones with disabilities, will hold a Family Get-Together on November 13th at 5:30 pm. This event is not sponsored by Prince Edward County Public Schools.
