Dr. Jones attended a gathering of retired PECPS teachers today. He updated them on the ES renovation project, enjoyed hearing them reflect on their time at PECPS, and discussed our continued efforts to connect the community with our classrooms.

Dr. Jones recently met with members of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee to discuss concerns and share feedback. The committee includes representatives from each school who gather input from colleagues to bring forward on behalf of their schools. Open communication is essential to ensuring voices across PECPS are heard and valued.

The Superintendent’s Student Panel recently met! 🦅💬 Students shared their concerns and what they enjoy most about being an Eagle. Our ES Eagles are still excited about the opening of the new addition, while our middle school Eagles enjoyed talking about future career paths. PECHS students shared their thoughts on the need for updates at the high school. We value student voice and appreciate their honest feedback! #EagleVoice

We appreciate the daily leadership our principals provide. This week has been a celebration of them and the invaluable asset they are to PECPS. They were surprised with a few of their “favorite” things during a staff meeting and recognized at the January school board meeting with personalized cookies made by our culinary arts students.

The elementary school recently invited families to visit the newly completed portion of the building. Families enjoyed the open layout of the space, and teachers continue to share how much they appreciate the added storage, always a welcome bonus! 😊
