is an ongoing effort to remind all our Eagles of the importance of daily attendance. Mrs. Amos, the Student Support Specialist, has started showing up to random classes π to give away incentives to our Eagles. Our Eagles are amazing, last month we recognized the Scholastic Bowl team for their remarkable season and the district spelling bee winners.






It's National Reading Month! Today, our elementary Eagles wore hats to celebrate Dr. Seuss Week. Tuesday's book is 'Fox in Socks,' and the theme is crazy socks. #EverybodyReadsVA

Announcement for 2/28/24: All after-school activities have been canceled due to the possibility of severe weather.


PECES recently hosted a program to celebrate Black History Month. During the program, students celebrated the contributions of African Americans to our diverse history. Additionally, some staff members dressed in cultural attire.










February is School Board Appreciation Month! Students from the elementary school made cards and drew pictures for each school board member. We value the multifaceted roles in which each member serves!

Prince Edward County Public Schools Supervisor of Food Service, Bruce Davis, along with his colleagues, participated in the annual School Nutrition Association of Virginia Lobby Day held in Richmond. During this event, the team engaged in discussions with state representatives to emphasize the importance of providing nutritious meals to children and to express support for HB 686 and SB 283. These bills, if passed, will enable school districts across Virginia to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students, irrespective of their household income. Currently, all Prince Edward County Public Schools provide free breakfast and lunch to students.
