Reminder: The purpose of today's special called School Board meeting is to discuss the strategic plan. This meeting is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the school board conference room and is open for attendance by the general public.

The Prince Edward County School Board will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to discuss the PECPS Strategic Plan. The meeting will take place in the Dr. James M. Anderson Jr. School Board Conference Room.
The safety of all our Eagles remains our top priority! We are pleased to announce that all schools have successfully completed their fire drills. Additionally, in compliance with regulations, all schools will be conducting lock-down drills within the first twenty days of the school year.

Schedule update: The MS Cheerleading tryouts will take place on 8/9, 8/10, and 8/14.
If you're interested in joining the MS football or cheerleading team, you still have a chance! Tryouts began this week, but it's not too late to participate. However, before doing so, make sure to get a sports physical. For those interested in volleyball and soccer, tryouts start on 8/14.
The PECPS school board will meet on Wednesday, August 9th, at 5:30 pm. You have the option to either watch the meeting online or attend in person. The public participation section is scheduled to start at 5:45 pm. Tomorrow, a link to the live broadcast will be posted.
Due to the impending threat of bad weather, all after-school activities are canceled for today August 7, 2023.
